My uncle is a retired Honolulu cop. He's also a self-centered jerk.
If he's anything like my uncle, it will be tough to get your neighbor to change his habits. For him to consider a change, the whole neighborhood would have to work together. Everyone talks to him, calls the police when he make too much noise, or signs a petition...

I grew up in a small town and still have friends there. This stuff comes up when I'm visiting for holidays and run out of better stuff to talk about.

[/ QUOTE ] Very good, I laughed. Unfortunately, cops can be as petty as anybody else, but they have way more power to do something about it and an incredible amount of power to get away with it. I'd be kinda nervous myself. Maybe you should just give the name of the nearest intersection or the address of the cops, and leave your address out of it. Maybe stay out for an hour instead of zipping right back to the house.
