($109) Tough river decision against tricky opponent
This hand really made me sick. Villain has been one of the more active players throughout the tourney. Has been really deceptive and hard for me to read. I'm looking for opinions on if the turn was played correctly and what to do on the river.

Re: ($109) Tough river decision against tricky opponent
Why didn't you bet the turn?
If villain hits a set, so be it. You can bet the turn for 1000 or so and fold to a reraise or river push (though I would likely call a reraise on the turn against an "aggressive" villain). Three-way, villain will have mid pair, bottom pair, and straight draws way too often for you to check this turn, which shows weakness and gives opponent the chance to push the river with anything from the nuts to absolute air. |

I would push on the turn.
If there was some reason you checked, I would definitely call the river bet since there are so many missed draws that villain could have, and an offsuit Jack is pretty much a blank here. |
