Default How safe is wireless internet at a major hotel?

I need to be out of town this weekend and don't want to miss the Stars monthly freeroll. The hotel I am staying at has wireless internet, but I don't think its a secure network. How safe am I if I log into my Stars account through that network? Should I empty the account before I go on my trip and then change the password when I get home?

I travel and stay at Holiday Inn Express Hotels. I play poker and have never had a problem. In most cases you arent going to have someone sniffing the wireless network for personal information, however its possible, just very remotely.

Don't fret. Even if someone is sniffing, your connection with stars is secure. You should of course run a personal firewall though for other reasons.
