I dont try to avoid germs. Keep my immune system on its toes.

You might be slightly serious, but you're probably not kidding. I am the same way, but not with germs rather medicine, I don't take it. I don't get flu shots or take aspirin for headaches or ibuprofen or anything like that, probably once a year and it's got to be some blinding pain for me to do it.

With that said when we were in dealer school our instructor told us to wash our hands on every single break. I believed him. In my first month I got sicker than I've been in my entire life, it lasted six days and I thought I was going to die. Unbelievable. Casinos(patrons?) are so filthy it's unbelievable. Then I started to notice that a great deal(not more than half but still) of employees(and not just dealers) would not wash their hands on their break/after using the bathroom. Now that I know that I wash my hands constantly, I don't touch any part of my skin with my fingers unless my hands have just been washed, and I don't touch banisters, doors, handrails, anything with my hands anymore. It's absolutely disgusting.

WASH YOUR HANDS. I can't even imagine eating at a poker table. *pukes*

well the "excess" of hygenic concerns in the western world can have a negative effect. Some argue that our immune systems become so vulnerable due to the lack of bacteria and whatnot we are confronted with that in a couple of decades westerners are not able to visit some less developed places in the world without getting seriously ill.

So there is something to say for keeping the immune system on its toes...
