So loose passive doesn't imply that he can have us crushed ? I thought that meant he didn't raise much. So one loose passive, one unknown, and one donk.

Still doesn't seem that clear cut to me.

He's loose so it's not likely that he has us beat. It also means that he won't extract the most from us when he does. If he was considered tight/passive, then there might be an issue to discuss.

I think you played it fine, you are good here often enough to call the river.

Do I have a leak in my game if I fold that preflop ?

[/ QUOTE ]

I wouldn't call it a leak.

QJo is a limp and Q10o and J10o are folds for me. All three are very borderline hands and probably don't make too much difference. But I definitely think you should play QJo anyway.

i like folding the flop. Looks to me like people are being results oriented. If you had been 3 bet this would look terrible. I think you could be drawing to a 3 outer or to runners a lot here.

I like the way this hand was played.

rafiki,

Getting involved with position against bad players with OK hands is +EV, If you play decently, your definately losing value by not playing this.

ok this is good to know. Can you guys let me know which of these hands in the dealer spot, in this exact same situation, I should fold ?

A8
A7
K8s
J9s
56s
89s

just trying to get a feel for what plays well in that spot vs bad players

Offsuit aces I would much rather isolate one bad player than play against a large field. The suited hands I'm overlimping against a large field. J9s and 89s are good calls in this situation, K8s is pretty borderline I think.

Just look at the SSH "tight" reccomendations, they still apply to mid-stakes games with volume pots and bad players.
