Just trying to help...but if you are open limping w small pp's, etc. then you might not be quite ready for 5/10 online. SSHE's starting hands for loose games don't work well at 5/10 online because most of the games are tighter than live play. Also, I wouldn't play 5/10 if I didn't have a grasp on what the PT numbers mean yet. Good luck.

I'm confused. I should play more hands? What is a good VPIP for me?

I stole more blinds today...definitely notice the difference. Thanks!

He meant instead of trying to figure out where you stand after 8.5k hands, you accumulate more hands.

Not to criticize, but you've played more than 8400 hands and are showing a profit of $7.27? You'd be better off working at McDonald's. Seriously, I don't know how that is possible. I'd suggest going way down in level until you can show more of a profit.

I don't think the fact that he's breakeven over 8000 hands or so means much of anything. I'm assuming this post is sarcastic, but thought I would post this just in case.

I'm also assuming that post was sarcastic. BTW it was a loss of $7.27.

Anyway,

For most online 5/10 tables that I've played on, you need to unlearn some of SSH's starting hand recommendations, particularly in regards to limping small/medium pairs from EP/MP. Your typical opponent is very aggressive and will isolate liberally on you when you do this, and unless you flop a set you'll often be in the difficult position of trying to figure out if your underpair is good while out of position. Unless the table is abnormally loose and/or passive, openlimping anything is generally bad.

This advice helped me a lot. Much thanks.

Raise more preflop. Steal/defend more blinds.

Vol.put$SB: 37.20
Fold SB to steal: 84.12 (i have a feeling this is high)
Fold BB to steal: 31.50
Att. steal blinds: 30.78

What ranges should I shoot for?
