Default How has the online game changed and what to do?

I've read numerous posts about winning players not winning as much as a year or two ago or downright losing. People say you have to adapt to the "changing texture" of the online games.

How exactly have the games changed, besides the demise of the full games in favor of short handed?

From my own observations, playing low limit on Party I find the fish still plentiful, but more aggressive. There is more total bluffing, reraising the flop with bottom pair or raising the turn with a 2-outer draw. In theory, these players should be more lucrative with a higher variance. But then if they're aggressive, they're on the road to good poker, provided they learn to be more selective.

So if it's not the lack of fish, at least in low limits, what else has changed? The good players are better? Maybe people who used to play mid-limits found them toughening up and dropped back to low-limits?

What exactly has changed online? And how do you counter act it?

I back switched to NL and my bb/100 went back up to double digits. It's because NL pays less rake.
