ITM of 47 and ROI of 32! Holy crap Batman! I can't wait for my copy to show up.
By teh way the post says 100 trials and the PT printout says 251. Is it possible to breakout just the 100? |

Re: Kill Phil stats for over 100 SnGs $11 @ Party
I know this book is formatted to be used as a MTT reference, with a small mention of SNGs. However, I think they inadvertently wrote an almost optimal guide to the 11's on Party. I think from lvl 3 on, all ins really are the best move. I found when there were around 6 left, I would usually either bust, or double up...and then be in great position to make the money...obviously I think the heads up strategy provided is far from ideal however. Having more luck at the 20's heads up when I have been a bit more judicious with my decisions.

[/ QUOTE ] I'm pretty new to SNGs, so take this FWIW. I wasn't sure of the HU strategy either, but I've tried to stick to it, and today I had a good example of what it does. Final 3 at a PS $5.50 SNG, Opponent A was semi-aggro pre-flop and would mess with me on the flop. Opponent B was more straight up and played his hands for what they were worth pre-flop and was either in or out postflop. I started going all-in with alot of hands, taking alot of blinds. I finally got called by Opp. A when I had TT and I doubled up. Opponent A started to climb back into it from his postflop play with opponent B until B slow played a big hand and busted A. I then started going all-in about every other hand against B and in a matter of a few hands, I'd stolen so many blinds that I had quite a lead, when he finally might call me with a better hand I was going to be able to survive the all in and lose. The stolen blinds were going to make the difference and neither of them made any adjustment or played back. Opp. A had a few choice words for me as well, calling me scared and weak. I like it and I feel that at least I have some form of a strategy when I sit down at the table. |

Re: Kill Phil stats for over 100 SnGs $11 @ Party
this isn't heads up?
Also, I play on Party, which while I am sure is different, probably isn't too different at such small stakes...however, in heads up, It just did not seem to work. I understand that you steal the blinds, but people on Party are willing to call your all in with Q5 after you have pushed 3 times in a row. They are idiots...If they were good, then the all in every move might make more sense. |

Good job and question. How did you post your PT results. I would like to do the same thing with my $5 + $1 SnG results. I played these low limits while learning KP. If I post the results, nobody would believe it, unless I add the PT database as you did.
