Re: Wynn - Midlimit Mixed Game still going strong?
[ QUOTE ]
What are the odds of getting a 4-8 mixed game going this coming weekend? Impossible? [/ QUOTE ] It took 13 STTF tourney donk 2+2'ers before Caesars spread us a 5/10 HORSE game. It was a bit annoying to pay $5/0.5 hour/seat when we had to spend 5 minutes teaching a dealer how to read a Stud/8 hand correctly. The one non-2+2 player calls down good2cu's xx7532x board with xx8653x. good2cu turns up 83A and other guy turns up 29Q (or something stupid like that). good2cu yells "Ship it!" Dealer reads his 875332A as "pair of threes for high and 8752A for low" and other guy's Q986532 as "queen-high with 86532 for low." Sigh. Arguing. Lesson in board reading. good2cu says "You don't yell 'Ship it!' when you split," as he's finally pushed the whole pot. I'll be in town this weekend but probably won't have time to play. If something like this happens though I'd find a way to get in a few hours of play. Apparenty I have money I don't need. |

Re: Wynn - Midlimit Mixed Game still going strong?
Ours was 5/10, but we ended up playing most of the Holdem round as 10/20 because of the afformentioned dealer confusion. Luckily for me I ran hot right then.
good 10/20 LHE 2+2 hand: Folds to IHateKeithSmart on the button, who limps. Good2cu raises. I say "wtf button open-limping" and 3-bet with KQs. Hater 4-bets, I cap, and go 3 to the flop. It has a king in it, and I get in a flop c/r on both of them for 6 small bets. Good2cu folds to my turn bet, and Hater calls me down with something that didn't beat kings. Limp/4-bet = awesome fun. That game was probably the most fun I've had in a poker room ever... |
