Chalk me up as another who has had a positive experience with Cardrunners. I've been a member since their inception.

$70 to try cardrunners for 1 month is steep. I have to think about it.

so which one should i join out of cardrunners and pokerxfactor? i play tournaments and cash games and my cash game is much better. really i want to continue to learn in both areas but don't know how helpful the cash game advice would be on there since i play .5-1 and sometimes 1-2. most of the play at these stages should be pretty straightforward.

any thoughts?

I made the switch from SNG's to NL cash games. Cardrunners has made the transition much smoother for a NL noob. I have gotten my money's worth and then some.

Try www.pokerstrategy.co.za, lots of stuff, especially on limit hold'em and psychology, and it's completely free.

I also was looking to make this switch and have found cardrunners to be very good. If you want to play NL this is a great site. The videos are good quality, long and the explinations from Taylor (Green Plastic) are very good.

There is a free video on line that you can download if you are curious about the video quality. Once I watched it I knew I wanted to sign up.

If anyone has any other questions they can email me. I am in no way affiliated with the site.

yeah I watched it. good quality video and audio. I thought his tought process was good but I hope all the videos are not like that. for one thing, nothing really happened. he played like 1 pot and basically lost $2-3.

I really want to learn more about playing big pots. If I get a passive table, I am pretty good and chopping away and building my stack up (fairly risk free). But sometimes I get into some tough decisions before the flop when reraised with something like JJ or AK. I hope that he goes into some of those situations (play a big pot, or dump it). I don't really get married to those 2 hands before the flop but hearing some advice from Taylor and others on that subject may give me more confidence in the move I choose to take.
