Default Travel Insurance

Those of you living abroad,or travelling for several months, do you get travel insurance? Where's the best place to get it? Is it worth getting for that peace of mind?

Default Re: Travel Insurance

yes, travel insurance is a must. Top of the list are medical expenses and emergency repatriation, lower down comes cover for your personal goods/lost baggage.

I got my travel insurance in the UK from STA travel, but most insurance packages are much of a muchness. You need to check what levels of cover you can have [usually listed and self-explanatory] and what, if any, excess you will have to pay on claims [sometimes less explanatory but quite important].

Good luck on your travels.
Pete
