From the old guy's perspective, was he tryin to get hero to push? If your image is anywhere close to as tight as ahnuld is suggesting, it seems like the old guys play SHOULD be to get you to push. With AJ of clubs out there and him holding the Q of clubs, you don't have KQc, you don't have Axc so he would almost specifically have to put you on a preflop raise with T9c, which it doesn't really sounds like would be in your reraising range.
Knowing that you don't have the clubs and probably fear the flush, isn't it a better play on his part to lead out with a 1/2 to 3/4 pot bet on the river? It looks donkish, but you sure seem to like your hand and I think would be more apt to make a call then bet at the pot at this point. Tell me if I'm way off, but I really feel that he misplayed this, unless his comment was designed to make you push, which from the responses, it seems like would have worked on a majority of players.

Tell me if I'm way off, but I really feel that he misplayed this [/ QUOTE ] uh, yeah. he butchered it. what did he think he was up against, a reraise to 300 pf by KcTc or Tc9c? the guy was terrible, so there's really not too much strategic analysis involved in this hand, i just thought his comment made for a funny little story.
