No not in my life time, unless the button has some real tight stats to make me believe he has AA and even then I probably call. I see too many people do the same thing with AK-JJ. But that's just me I don't mind losing with KK.

I'd consider it - but I'd call.

The action definitely looks like Aces. I read somewhere that "the 4th raise is always Aces" - tho maybe this guy read that as well and has AK.

I'm calling the re-raise and seeing a flop here. I don't like 3-betting preflop with KK when I have no reads. Then I'm potting any non A or Q flop and taking it from there.

If villain pushes over the top of my flop bet I can fold happily.

Call spike a K and send villain on a trip to monkeytilt-ville..

Gordon's Little Green Book?

I think it was in Championship NL and PL Hold'em by Cloutier/Mcevoy. Amongst the other terrible advice in the book, TJ mentions that he lays down KK preflop in certain games because the 4th bet is always Aces.

Ah, well, Gordon's book sounds better, but the key in all of this (and really all of poker) is to know your opponent.

I'm going to venture a guess that Party 50c-$1 isn't among the "certain games".

This morning, I went over the top pre-flop with AA against some jacka$$, who called with 2-3O. He called the flop and turn with 2's, then rivered 2 pair. Blew my $150/hr from last night.

Although I know you need to cut your teeth on low blind action, sh&t like this makes me wonder. I've won several $500 tourneys on Party, then find myself losing to a-hole fish in the low blind NL.

How do you know he's a "jacka$$"? If this is your attitude to people who make plays that lose them money in the long run, then it will hurt you. You have demonstrated much more clearly that you are a jackass than that your opponent was.
