Could someone post all the ways they referred to being gay in the episode?

I thought I heard Panosh(sp?) and Spinook(sp?). I need to rewatch.

[/ QUOTE ]

I think it's fanook. In The Godfather (the book) they use mezzo-fanook too.. which I assume means 'half a [censored]'(?)

Fanook, or Finook: derived from "finocchio" or fennel, a derogatory term for homsexual or gay, i.e., people that wiseguys feel nervous around. A "mezzofinook" is half gay, sissy, bi.

Where does consigliere fit into the hierachy?

[/ QUOTE ]

Advisor to the Don, second in command. Dude, watch movies much?

[/ QUOTE ]

I know he is advisor, I meant concerning kickups that we were talking about. Second in command, in this context, implies 'underboss' to me, where capos kick up to him, and he kicks up to Tony, which I don't think is the case with Sil.

[/ QUOTE ]

I think consigliere's usually are considered to be 3rd in power. They're probably placed outside the upward money flow to keep an appearance of impartiality. Any of their business probably kicks directly to the boss.

Don't know the first one. The second one is Finnook.

"Mezzo-finnook" has always been used a lot on the show. Mezzo means half, so mezzo-finook means sissy. Not necessarily gay, just not very masculine or macho.

There was no mention of "mezzo" when discussing Vito.

Which one did the little guy yell at his car as he threw the rock at it when they confronted him at the beach house?

Ah ok, thought I heard something else. It felt like they used a larger range of words everytime they talked about him.

Paulie called someone "half a [censored]" while talking to Tony in the hospital. I was wondering which half he meant.
