Default [25] Blind defense with JT leads to TP... now what?

No reads just sat down blah blah blah. Going through some hands from sessions past, this was one of those 'standard' hands where I just felt lost, with no idea what my line should be.

[/ QUOTE ]
Party Poker ($0.25 no limit). Hand converted by Check Raised hand converter

BTN ($24.90) (BTN)
BB ($3.30) (BB)
UTG ($29.32) (UTG)
MP ($35.41) (MP)
CO ($12.84) (CO)
Heroine ($24.40) [ T J ] (SB)

Preflop (6 players):
2 folds.
CO checks.
BTN raises $1.00.
Heroine calls ($0.90) [2.89:1].
2 folds.

Is this a call pre-flop? How about on the assumption that these people are retarded like how 25 NL tends to be, and that this will end up multiway?

Flop (10.4 bets ($2.6) in pot, 2 players): 3 J 6

I flopped top pair weak kicker on a fairly dry board out of position... now what. I'm guessing there are a lot of ways to play this; but to have a solid 'correct' line would require some sort of read.

Heroine checks. (???)
BTN bets $1.00.
Heroine HURRRRS.

Should I just have led out? Now what?

i check it too, based on how much he raises, how agressive he is, id consider a check raise after that weak bet. id also call sometimes and take a cheap turn. if thr turn is not an overcard ill take a stab at it. take it from there.

i'd call it and lead the turn. i think this is as close to a "standard" line here as you'll find.

lead flop. or check-call lead turn when an over card doesn't fall.

I hate to say it again, but a check-raise is horrible.

check-raise protects against the unlikely AJ. You can get away from the hand if he has better and he'll drop it if he doesn't.
I still hate that line, I'd just call and bet the turn. If its an overcard I may check call, I may check fold. A queen will make me more likely to check call.

Kumubou-

I dug this one up for you special. It's a great post from the big boys that addresses your situation nearly exactly. I hope it helps.

AJ in the BB--when you flop top pair on a dry board--good discussion from the gents upstairs.
