Interview with Chip Reese
This interview was done a few days ago for the NBC HeadsUp site.
Thought the interview came off pretty well. |

Re: Interview with Chip Reese
[ QUOTE ]
Q: Predictions for yourself: when will you stop playing poker and, when you do stop, what will you do? CR: I'll stop playing at my funeral. And only God knows what I'll do after that. [/ QUOTE ] I thought this was pretty funny. |

[ QUOTE ] Maybe the new type of hold 'em will be called Omaha. [/ QUOTE ] That was hardly the question asked. [/ QUOTE ] Please forgive my paraphrasing and tongue in cheek comment ... here's the interview Q&A so everyone can make their own guess about what Chip meant, with the benefit of both the question asked and the response given. [ QUOTE ] Right now, no limit hold'em is the most "trendy" poker game. What do you think the next "trendy" game will be? CR: Hold'em is definitely getting a little boring. So much of what the public sees are races - pocket pairs v. ace-king or ace-queen. Soon, the public is going to want more than that. I'm working on a project with a couple of my poker friends to make some subtle changes to the game of hold'em to make it more interesting. (Editor's note: Chip noted that we would see some of these ideas in print at a later date ? and ultimately on TV - but would not divulge any of the changes at this time.) [/ QUOTE ] |
