Limp, get your stack in if you hit TP.
Possibly limp/push to a raise PF depending on read. |

Re: 22R. AQo Level 3. 15xBB
I think limping here is horrible.

Re: 22R. AQo Level 3. 15xBB
i like limping here. exercise pot control here, playing AQ OOP in a big pot is just asking for trouble, which is exactly what you got. remember, this is an sng, where chips have varying values, not a cash game.

I'd rather shove than limp, frankly.

[/ QUOTE ] Pot control does not equal limping IMO. One type of pot control is leading out with 2.25 - 2.75 x BB. Which is what I think OP should do in this situation. The reason for leading out with a 250 bet here is to create a smaller pot post flop than you would if you open raised to the traditional 3 - 4 x BB. This makes the post flop play easier, and any continuation bets less expensive. In this situation the button has a big stack and probably has a pretty wide range of calls here. This is a classic spot for suited connectors or low/middle pair to call and take a shot at stacking you. Without reads I would probably check this with the intention of folding to a bet from the button and betting the turn (if its checked around) no matter what falls. |

I think limping here is horrible. [/ QUOTE ] I wouldn't limp here, but I wouldn't say limping here is horrible. If you have this thing figured out, then don't post the f'ing hand. C/Bet 1/2 the pot on the flop and take it from there. I'd be done with the hand if you get reraised or called depending on what the turn card is. |
