Re: What kind of notes do you write on opponents?
I make note of any play I deem to be bad or unusual. In addition, I try to make note of betting patterns that I can exploit later. Very rarely do I make the note "solid player" at the $20 level and lower.

Re: What kind of notes do you write on opponents?
I'm constantly noting "Min" for donks who constantly min raise. Of course, if they are minraising AA they're still pretty dumb and I'll note it, but most times its A4o, or J9o.
Edit: To expand on this, I usually take these minraises to suggest that they have no idea of the value of a hand and are either overvaluing or undervaluing what they are holding. In other words, a donk. Typically, these characters are also involved in about 50% of the hands until they donk out, donk out a donk, or suck out on me, where upon I try to restrain myself from smashing inanimate objects. |

Re: What kind of notes do you write on opponents?
I give them a rating like "sl, sp" where in the first position "l, sl, st, or t" stand for loose, semi-loose, semi-tight, or tight. Loose = sees every flop, etc.
In the second position I use "p, sp, sa, or a" for passive, semi-passive, semi-aggressive, and aggressive. Passive = usually checks or calls, never raises, etc. Then I put in comments like "calling-station" or "usually open-raises" or "all-in level 1" or "calls with marginal hands", etc. |

Re: What kind of notes do you write on opponents?
i think one of the most valuable notes u can write is whether or not they miss super obvious pushes late (esp. from sb or bb).. It tells a lot about that players level of thinking in regard to SNG's
but i often do just put donk if they are dummies. i ussually put MTER if they are multitabling (although HUD will tell me the same with stats) |
