Party PLO $1/$2: In BB against button stealer.
Party Poker
Pot Limit Omaha Ring game Blinds: $1/$2 9 players Converter Stack sizes: UTG: $64 UTG+1: $31.70 MP1: $443.46 MP2: $126.30 MP3: $273 CO: $133.37 Button: $406.43 SB: $95.39 Hero: $200 Pre-flop: (9 players) Hero is BB with J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6 folds, <font color="#cc0000">Button raises to $7</font>, SB calls, Hero calls. Flop: Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($21, 3 players) SB checks, Hero checks, <font color="#cc0000">Button bets $19.95</font>, SB folds, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises to $79.8</font>, <font color="#cc0000">Button raises to $279.3</font>, <font color="#cc0000">Hero calls all-in $113.2</font>. Uncalled bets: $86.3 returned to Button. No reads, I've only just joined the table and first hand in I'm in the big blind. Villain has me covered. This table had the highest average pot hence my reason for being at it. Anyone reraise preflop? I'd appreciate comments on the flop pushing. |

I don't like doing it on the 1st hand. I'd be concerned he had KK, but hell you still have some chance if he does. I'd do the exact same thing.

Standard. You may need to vomit afterwards. Also standard.

I generally don't reraise anything preflop without position.

Agreed, standard vomit if he has QQ or AA/KK and you don't hit your draw(s)

Does anyone lead for $21 after the SB checks? C/Ring seems better to me to pick off his continuation bet.

Frivolity aside, I would likely bet out here as a default move against an unknown foe. I don't mind the c/r though, especially if you're planning on sticking around a good long time and would like to set a feisty tone right off.

Results:
Villain shows QQ99 for topset and blockers to my straight draw, but Villain didnt realise how well I've been running lately and the turn was a diamond. The board didn't pair. |
