I have been at it for just less than two years. I study hard and have read most of the 2+2 library. I make what I understand to be the right plays but continually lose to people that I see play horribly. I am starting to think that I am the horrible player and may not be able to adjust. It is hard to accept because I consider myself a fairly intelligent person. Maybe poker isn't for me.
I had some early success in tourneys and won a large amount of money (to me anyway). I rarely play tourneys anymore because I fell in love with NL cash games. But I am slowly giving away the money that I won. I really enjoy playing and I would hate to give up the game. But don't want to continue losing. Just venting. I'll probably be ok in a day or two and go on a nice winning streak |

play some SnGs...it's a nice change of pace after playing cash, plus you can only lose your buy-in. I havent played them in months but I had a blast today just pushing chips around.
