Default Would you make this play with 56s? 3/6 NL

SB 984.55 (Villian)
BB 607.80
UTG 730.95
Hero 954.85
Button 257.30

SB posts
BB posts
UTG folds
Hero raises to 24 with 56s
Button calls
SB reraises to 72
Hero calls
Button calls

Flop 958 rainbow
SB bets 102
Hero goes all in for 780 more

Both Hero and villian know each other are solid and know that all-ins by one of them means near-nuts or nuts

I think the play is ok considering there's a lot of fold equity and if called, Hero still has 10 outs

I don't mind it if he actually thinks you would push here w/ a set or the straight.

I see AA or KK calling here all day long tho......

It's obvious he has AA/KK with that reraise pf. I wonder if he knows that Hero knows that he has an overpair, thus moving in hoping he would call. I don't know, maybe I'm thinking at level 3.

I like it if you are both nits.

Obviously this play is or isn't a profitable play depending on a few conditions that largely rely on the history between you two. As an outsider it's hard for me to comment on that, so I'm afraid I just have to tell you "it depends".

If you put your opponent on AA/KK...

Good idea: Fold
Bad idea: Make a complicated excuse to execute an elaborate bluff
