I wonder what's bigger: my post count, or my "tl;dr" count.

Probability of set over set occuring: 1%. The only set I get way from is if I hit bottom set, we make it to the turn, and the jack pairs. Even then, if he's loose, I'm getting stacked if I lose here.

This feels like an extremely tight play - why not reraise the flop with utg min raises? i understand what you've been saying about trying not to spew, but you can't be afraid to go broke with a hand like this unless you've played this guy a lot before and are extremely sure of your read. you HAVE to shut people out of this pot with JJ. but since you didnt, let's go from there. you were right to fast play the set, but a min raise makes you look extremely weak, so of course he's gonna come over the top of you. he could have raised preflop with anywhere from TT-AA, and maybe even as far as AK-AJ. if you raise more on the flop, you may shut down his large re-raise, but I still can't see getting away from this hand just 7 hands into the table - you CAN'T be afraid to go broke if you want to win! don't be so afraid to play your hands aggressively when you've got them.
