Some programs online, others aren't...

In the middle of playing at Pacific I realized that my IE wasn't working, so I stopped playing then I restarted. Still not working (restarting worked a couple hours earlier.). After I restarted my comp would connect to Party and Stars but not Pacific or IE. My wifes computer is working fine and we are on the same network. What should I/can I do about this?

FWIW I've restarted more than a couple times to try to get it working. TIA.
