The problem is you shouldn't be in such a spot if you played it better on the flop.

huh?

you are missing the point of my flop line, which i like even more after this comment and others in this thread...you are implying here that if i had played the flop `better` that i`d have pot committed myself to be all in on the turn. i think THAT is horrendous. the whole purpose behind min-reraising the flop was to NOT pot-commit myself later in the hand. i think flat calling the flop may have been better but reraising such that i am basically all in on the turn no matter what comes i think is horrible, and i have yet to be convinced otherwise.

Are you also minraising your sets here too?

bet more on flop, call mini raise. c/f turn as it is.
If turn was blank, i lead for 2/3 pot.

hell no, having a set here is a lot differnt than AA. a set is precisely one of the hands i am afraid of.

You're arguing in defense of my point...min 3-betting flop is terrible, then being OOP to add to it, it folds no hands, what did you expect to get from it? I would call and re-evaluate turn as I already said.

Dude, if you think there's any merit at all to playing the hand the way you did on the flop, then you're a retard, and no comments we make or advice we give is going to help you out.

The first problem is your flop play, there is NO REASON AT ALL you should be in the turn situation that you are in.

There's merit to it if OP doesn't like money.
