There's a forum on the team page. Don't know if you've seen it. I wrote a 'Hi' message there sometime in november. It'd be nice if you guys could introduce yourselves there too.

I also need to figure out what (if any) the advantage of playing as a team is compared to playing solo. Is there any financial benefit? Because I don't think there is.

I'd still play for the social aspect of course. I think it could be a lot of fun.
