Default Playing a Big Flush After Completing 3rd - Stud High 5/10

I'm never quite sure how to play these hands later on after I complete 3rd. I think that completing is pretty standard with my hand, and then that fourth is worth a bet to try and thin the field, given that nobody appeared to catch good. Fifth is autonatic, and I can only guess that villain is on a draw here.

I bet sixth, more on the off-chance that villain would decide to fold. Quite often some players in this game will call one round against possible trips, but not a second bet.

I think that villain has one or two pair and the draw. I think check/call may be best here, as I really wouldn't like to be raised here. Any thoughts?

Why not bet the river? He checks behind whenever your hand is good, and bets when it isn't, so there's hardly any value in check-calling. I'd bet and give him a chance to call with two pair. He's also unlikely to raise at this point if he makes his straight, so you don't have to worry much about losing an extra bet.

Does the villian really make this call w/ 2 pair? Hero fires riv and the best Villian can call down w/ is hopes that the Hero missed a Fl Draw. I like the line on every str.

I've had lots of players call me with two pair in situations almost identical to this. Ultimately, it depends on how much of a calling station this guy is. Against most players, I think you should just bet and give them a chance to make a terrible call.

bet/fold > check/fold > check/call
