Re: Does anyone fold KK here?
Maybe this is just my soapbox today, but I don't like the size of the flop bet. Given stacks, I'm either open-pushing (and rooting for a call) or check-calling/pushing here.
I can see how the $11 flop bet might be OK given circumstances, but my basic reaction is that it's not OK. |

Re: Does anyone fold KK here?
He is making a big bet to get you off what he percieves as a flush draw. The 11 bet probably makes him think that you are on a draw which is why he goes all in. He wants to punish you for a draw. Tough hand but I think you can get away from it after the raise.

Re: Does anyone fold KK here?
Generally I would call here since u r getting good money odds.
The problem as I see it is the fact that MP minraised on the flop. This is a strong indication of a hand like jtensuited or qtensuited that is trying to increase the size of the pot to make good draw odds. I think MP is highly like to have the ten or else have 89 of diamonds in which case ur about even anyway. This hand is like getting a 15 in blackjack when the dealer shows ten. Ur probably going to lose some money and theres nothing u can do about it except fold on the flop or hope ur opponent is pushing with pocket queens or 89 of diamonds |
