small money games usually means passive players. Easy to take advantage of. The players in those small money games are easy to push around. [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

When a loose player runs good, he runs really good. When he runs bad, he runs very bad.

I think there is SOME validity in the strategy, but you would probably have to tighten up a little bit more to show a profit.
At my home games, we have huge stacks and tiny blinds, and I'll see a flop with just about any two since no one else can play postflop poker worth a lick. Most of the time I'll hit nothing and fold, but there was a situation last game where I flopped trips with 6-5, rivered quads and got paid off by two other players with small full houses. I definately think it's a viable strategy (at low limits where the players are terrible), but you'd have to adjust a little bit I think. |

I think there was some sort of 100BB/100 contest in the SSNL forum(ie someone claims they can win at 100BB/100 at NL25 or something, and people said it was only possible with play money). Perhaps you could play conservative for now, so you are able to reach 100BB/100 over 1000 hands. Then you post your graph on that forum.
