I thought that it was mediocre at best, and very un-deserving of all it's acclaim.

I hate how most movies that feature A)Retarded people or B) Tragedies happening to flawed people who were working hard and turning their lives around right before everything came crashing down are automatically fast tracked to become critical darlings.

Because people watch them?

I wanna see the ratings for a movie about a retarded action hero... he gets to screw and blow things up... things such as gigantic plot holes a la Arnold or Stallone, or better yet Segal or Van Damme.

That would be interesting (as far as critical acclaim was concerned)

I thought BBT deserved at least an Oscar nomination for best actor in this flick. Seemed like a big snub at the awards to me.

Halle's award is laughable.
