New to the higher $ MTTs (well, ok, mid-level, $20 MTT ) but I think this play is correct (maybe a 'duh' yeah thing?). My read on villian was that he was pretty loose with his pushes, coming over the top often of people. The few times he was called out, he showed down A9o and pocket 7s doing similar things, so I had his range pretty wide.
All comments appreciated, I think this is standard PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t2000 (8 handed) internettexasholdem.com saw flop|saw showdown MP2 (t33082) CO (t27863) Button (villian) (t17912) SB (hero) (t26109) BB (t10919) UTG (t35105) UTG+1 (t29598) MP1 (t61722) Preflop: Hero is SB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. 4 folds, CO raises to t6000, Button (villian) raises to t17812, SB (hero) raises to t26009, 1 fold, CO folds. Against a player like that, ull catch him weak alot. Sometimes they wakeup with a hand. only time not to take this risk would be in bubble situation, unless ur playing for 1st(which is ok) then ur playing JJ or better near everytime.
