.25/.50 PLO/8 hand - Berated

Ok, I don't have the hh for this because it was on Full Tilt and I don't store their hh's to my comp, so some small details may be off... but here goes.

9 handed, all three players involved have $47-50. My read is that the pf raiser is somewhat tight, and BB plays some hands that he shouldn't, both before and after flop, but he is 4 tabling .25/.50 PLO8, so I don't figure him for a total donk (whether this is valid or not is debatable).

3 Limpers, I am 2 off button w/ Ad 2d 5c 6h and I limp, button raises pot, BB calls, I call. Flop comes 3h 7d 8d, BB checks, I check to raiser, raiser bets pot, BB calls, I raise pot.

Great flop for your hand!

You are ahead of every hand except AA24 against wich you are on the
weighed side of the coin (+0.71 equity), the same goes agaist a2+set although this 3 holdings (a2..33,77,88)
are not frequently raised and less by a tight player.

Thanks guys. The preflop raiser ended up folding what he said was A2xx, and he went off on me when he saw my hand, saying I was a total fish for raising when I was going to get quartered. I played along a little and asked him how I should have played it and he told me just call, then raise when I hit my hand or something to that effect. Thought that was extremely tight/passive, but I am new to PLO/8 and wanted some informed opinions.

I got the rest of my money in on the turn (Qs I think) with the BB, who held A 8 8 10, and I missed my draw for high.

It is uncanny how many world class experts will drop down to play the .25-.5 games. Its a good thing they are so free with their extensive knowledge.

I thought this was standard. I can't believe he even considered folding and then folded A2 at a 50.

Ah yes the berating, it's funny at 50 because they all think they're pros down there.
