I suck at limit hold em?
I it just me or does anyone else find it impossible to win money at low stakes limit hold em?
Don't get me wrong, I understand the game and tend to do very well on no-limit tables, but recently decided to try playing low stakes (0.5/$1) game on stars. Pretty much 6 people would see the flop and often call it all the way down to the river. Any good hand I got was quickly fished out and lost most hands I played. It was impossible to bet anyone out of a hand which I would have easily have won if I were playing in no-limit... Ace's had no chance against so many callers. TP/TK never held up. I had no chance against such loose players. It was also almost impossible to bluff anyone out of a pot. With people calling you all the way downn to the river with bottom pair, what chance do you have of winning any money? It seemed to rely purely on luck and that I was the unlucky one with 2-3 outters catching on the river practically every time. Should I try higher stakes tables? Are players a bit tighter at higher levels?.. Or do you think I should stick to no-limit and that I obviously suck at limit hold em?
