But was the flop bet too high? What would be a better line? |

How is this a fold without a read? Your opponents are tards. Your goal with AK should be to flop TP and get it all-in on the flop. Mission complete.

You got exactly what you could hope for. Folding here is a horrible error.

I bet ~400 on the flop but no I don't fold this here.

btw I think that bet is the perfect amount, cause if you get called you can open shove the turn

Well I DID call this.
Yet I begin to think that whenever I am confronted with such a betting pattern (unless I have a clear read that villain is a true donk) I am looking at 2-pair or better much more often than not to make this call profitable. |

I think this is the best flop you can hope for really. I'd call easy. The bet is a bit big, but there's really nothing wrong with that.
The only hand he could reasonably have that beats you is TT. Unlikely, but also possible is KT or 44. Also, it's possible that he likes to push people around early and get a big stack, and he might be semibluffing with QJ. But that's a pretty slim list of hands, and pretty slim odds on each of them. I'd call and expect to see KQ or something completely moronic. |

I'd bet less on the flop, but I'm not folding to an all-in.

I would say no read: fold.
anything like a read: likely call. I would probably try to check.raise the flop here. |
