my worst single session down swing is about 120BB, my worst week is probably close to 300BB.

you lost 120BB at one table? or a you 4-tabling and in 2-4 hours you lost 120BB?
i mean the session would end for me, when i lose something around 50BB (playing 2-3 tables with 25BB buy-in) bc i dont wanna go on tilt. the tables could be full of donks but its nearly impossible for me to play there solid poker after several hard bad beats.

btw, i have several 100BB downswings in the last 30k hands at 1/2, but im just a break even player.

I've dropped 100BB+ in a session and 200BB in a week at 0.50/1.00 before when I had previously been a 2BB+/100 (fairly short-term) winner. Upswings are much more fun.

That's 4 and 5 tabling and running bad and running too long trying to come back on a table I shouldn't have been at.

Great posts guys. Nice program, I'll be experimenting with it for a while. I'm currently on a 100BB downswing at 25c/50c and am only running at 0.66BB/100 in 18k hands between 25c/50c and .50/1. Good to know that my play hasn't completely gone down the crapper and that this could be attributed to normal variance. I'm definitely gonna look into my stats though because I would think poor decisions are starting to factor in.

If you are using poker tracker try looking at the hands you have lost the most with and see if you are making bad decisions or running bad.
