($11) ITM with JJ
How good a hand do you need to call an all-in with 3 players left of a regular SNG at Party? Saussurian is a very solid, tight player, but I made that read after the tourney, because I'm not capable of reading people while 4-tabling. What do you think of the following hand:
PartyPoker $11 Regular Tournament, Big Blind is t400 (3 handed) Converter on pregopoker.com Button (t4384) SB (t8006) Hero (t7610) Preflop: Hero is in BB with J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Button folds, SB raises to t800, Hero raises to t2600, SB raises to t8006 (All-in), Hero calls t7610 (All-in) Flop: (t19616) 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players) Turn: (t19616) A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players) River: (t19616) 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players) |

Push all-in instead of raising to 2600. If he has queens-aces then oh well.

I think you're fine. Very unfortunate that the K and A fell, but it happens. I would've pushed over the initial raise.

Re: ($11) ITM with JJ
You've got almost twenty BBs left. Why not call the 800, or maybe raise to, say 1600? If he comes over the top, you can fold with a good stack and wait for a better spot.

Re: ($11) ITM with JJ
I like the reraise amount instead of goin all in, this causes him to commit anotehr mistake with a mediocre hand and also may comeover the top with a dry ace. Going all in is too cut and dry. Although depends on the situation if you think yuo'll get called goin all in then doing that is fine too. as to how good a hand, thsi is more than good enough for me.
