J8c flops monster draw.. or does it?
Didn't have any specific reads but these tables in general are a bit loose, particularly with over valuing of TP type hands and a willingness to chase a lot of draws for even pot sized bets.
Prima Poker skin No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $0.50/$1.00 5 players Converter - UTG sitting in seat 1 with $56.05 - CO sitting in seat 2 with $16.25 - Button sitting in seat 3 with $137.18 - Hero sitting in seat 4 with $92.01 - BB sitting in seat 6 with $115.00 Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is SB with J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] UTG calls, CO calls, Button calls, Hero calls, BB checks. Flop: 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($5, 5 players) Hero bets $4, BB calls, UTG calls, CO raises all-in $15.25, Button calls, ,Hero ??? Normally I have no problems bet/3-betting all-in here but the action makes me unsure how many of my outs are clean. I didn't think button would be smoothcalling with a set or straight given the size of the pot and the flush draw out there and was likely drawing too, but how strong I didn't know. How much do you discount my outs here and what's my best play? |

Re: J8c flops monster draw.. or does it?
Go all in, make button fold his flush/strt draw, then have a 50/50 shot with CO with HUGE HUGE HUGE amounts of dead money in the pot
