Re: Movie scenes that Always make you Cry
[ QUOTE ]
Sophie sending her daughter to die in Sophie's Choice is more mind-numbingly horrifying than sad, I suppose. [/ QUOTE ] Mind numbingly horrifying and sad...I had to leave the room when it was on and the thought of it makes me choke up. |

Terms of Endearment....when the daughter dies as her mother watches. Her mother sobbing about how stupid she was thinking it would be a relief when her daughter finally died.

Re: Movie scenes that Always make you Cry
Yeah, but I bet you didn't cry at the end of "Nemesis", cheap retelling of "Wrath of Khan" that it was.
That being said, the best scene in any Trek movie was the moby dick scene in "First Contact" - Alfre Woodard and Patrick Stewart in Picard's ready room. "You broke your little ship." |

To Kill A Mocking Bird.
Every time Scout points to the door and says to Atticus Finch: that man right there saved Jim (and Boo Radley appears from behind the door). Every freakin' time. |

Re: Movie scenes that Always make you Cry
I don't watch Terms of Endearment anymore. What a sad and depressing film. Just thinking about it depresses me.
