Re: LRR from interesting spot
LRR from an unknown is an easy fold for me here

Re: LRR from interesting spot
I've seen people play AK, TT, 88, 99 this way from late position but with no feel for the villain I'm probably folding.

Re: LRR from interesting spot
1) no position
2) gonna be expensive from flop on 3) not many flops that you will be that happy about 4) LESS set value 1+2+3 = fold me thinks |

Re: LRR from interesting spot

Re: LRR from interesting spot
I don't see unknowns attempting a LRR w K's/A's here often unless one of the two blinds is seen as a maniac, though you don't have set odds and given the size of the raise I'd typically fold.
I do have a nagging fear this is something like 8's that no longer want to see a flop. If the screenname is Grimstarr I'd be pretty confident and push. |

Re: LRR from interesting spot
With JJ I fold without giving this too much thought. QQ would be much more questionable.
If it was folded to him on the button I'd be more sure he was initally trying to keep the blinds in with AA, but MP's limp makes this less likely. However, the fact that MP did NOT call your 6BB raise makes it less likely that Button is trying to just steal the blinds with garbage. But the very large raise doesn't look like it wants a call, except that he may perceive 6BB to be a large raise from you and figure you for a call. Very weird spot indeed. I think this is Push or Fold. It is probably marginal EV pushing either way. 99, 1010 might do this, as may AK, but I don't think this is very likely. And as I already said I don't mind folding this. JJ would likely play like this, which is why I think it's closer to a push with QQ but may still fold it. |

AJ,
I guess fold. But, since you have 23948348234 buy ins , I would call out of sheer interest. regards, ness |

Easy fold, unless you feel like trying to give him a bad beat.

Re: LRR from interesting spot
I am deeply skeptical here. Button limp + crazy overbet makes me think he's FOS.
I expect you shoved, he showed AA and you sucked out, based on the usual pattern of your posts. |
