Default Best way to get to the Venetian?

I know I can MapQuest this, but I doubt MapQuest will help me like you can. I'm not very familiar with all the different streets around the strip. I'm coming from the Northwest side of town and I'm looking for suggestions for the least painful way to get to the Venetian. Thanks.

Take East Sahara, turn right at the first light past the Sahara onto Koval. South to the Venetian/Harrahs entrance. Stay in the right lane into the V's garage.

Least Painful? Take 15 to Spring mountain, park at TI/Mirage and walk across the bridge over the strip.

I have only parked at the Venetian once... ugh. It was terrible, and at about 2 in the afternoon. I drove North on the strip and the right turn lane was backed up for 15 or so minutes. I eventually went past the Venetian, did a U turn and came in from the North. Not so bad, but then I had to sit and wait for them to look through everyones car trunk.

They also have access from Koval lane. So 15 to Spring Mountain, which will go past the Sands, and turn onto Koval. Taking a right will get you to the back enterence for Venetian/Harrahs. Once you get into Security, you will have to walk though the Canal Shops, down to the casino, and over to the poker room. It might be as far of a walk as from TI.

Sort of like parking at NYNY to go to MGM's poker room.

That actually won't work. the first right on Sahara (east of LVB) is Paradise, not koval.

I'd park in the Mirage/TI lot off spring mountain and just walk across the street

it's an easy drive since the parking lot is right off the spring mountain 15 exit, traffic backup is minimal

Damn, did I mess this up. Right onto Paradise, past Wynn, take first Right then left onto Koval and you'll be right at the Sands Convention center and behind the venetian.

Sorry to the OP, I screwed that up, lol.

Thanks to all of you. I'll try both Koval and TI/Mirage and see which I prefer.

Photoc has the right idea, but you will want to take Desert Inn to Paradise, not Sahara. Desert Inn does not have access to Las Vegas Blvd, goes under it. You will save a bunch of time crossing the strip. If you take Desert Inn > Paradise > Koval > Venitian, it will be faster than parking at the Mirage and walking across - every time.

I agree, but you need to add Sands in there after Paradise....
