I knew I would get flamed for posting crap. I just thought it was strange the guy won the tournament. I guess a loose fish who gambles has a chance to get lucky.

[/ QUOTE ]

Actually, as of posting this, you had, to my amazement, not been flamed at all. You've since been mocked by exactly one person who started with a pretty tame one-liner and then responded to your insinuation that he was jealous of you with longer but still fairly tame "flame."

I'd say you've gotten off quite easily, though the day is young.

I just thought it was strange that this guy won the tournament after limp calling 8xBB preflop with 53o and essentially calling allin on the flop with a gutshot and no other reasonable outs.

[/ QUOTE ]
I've seen so much of this behavior I can't say I'm shocked...in a $80+8 satelite on ladbrokes.com, a guy called two all-ins (after some initial raises and reraises) w 8Ts. First Hand, no rebuys. Incredibly, my KK held up

[/ QUOTE ]
Yes, but the T8s guy didn't go on to win the tournament like this guy did. In fact he got knocked out.

Check folding at this point would be weak/tight.

To quote Tommy Angelo "<sometimes> I'd rather be weak/tight than strong/broke."

I'd type out a flame if I wasn't too hungover to be bothered. Worthless post.

The jealousy part was sarcasm, bro. My contributions to this forum take the form of 60% posting in "official" threads, 35% telling people to push preflop/on the flop/on the turn, and 5% flaming betgo. I in no way deserve to be considered an "exemplary poster."

...and besides, I already won my ME seat.

I think most people have given up flaming betgo for lent. Remind me to bump this after Easter.

I don't think I gave that up for lent. Here's a list of things I did give up:
1) religion
2) sobriety
3) celibacy
4) tact

Don't see "flaming betgo" on there, much to the delight of my post count.

Please don't flame me for this. I originally posted this in the BBV forum, because villain's calls were so fishy I thought it ws a curiosity. This hand occurred early in the tournament. However, villain (jtenute28) won the tournament (134 runners). This was a freezout PLHE tournament. Does this guy have the random number generator cracked? Was he drunk. How does someone so bad win a tournament? This looks fishy in more ways than one.
