Default Problem playing pocket jacks in 22\'s

recently i have been getting pocket jacks non stop in the first 3 rounds of my 22 speeds and i am having trouble playing them. i want to know if there is a cutoff hand to call a raise with during these 3 rounds, i usually only call a raise with AK and reraise with aces, kings, and queens. sometimes i even fold my JJ to a raise cause i am unsure of the risk/reward with sticking around. whats the best way to play JJ in the early rounds, raise if not raised, fold to a raise??? i am lost

what IC5 is saying is that there's no magical formula to beat the game, all your decisions are based on the relative tendencies of your opponents, and never fold Jacks to one raise, no matter how much it is. There's players raising every single hand in this case you can reraise with KQ suited for value/isolation. experience will be your best teacher if you're still asking questions like this. take your time to learn the game

I prefer calling a raise with JJ, and waiting for the 50% of ensuing flops that JJ is an overpair to.

Of course, 'cause of the small stack sizes, you'll sometimes get in trouble against a larger overpair, but on average you'll have a much better idea of where you stand after the flop.

It's more like 43%. Where do I pick up my pedantic tightass of the day award?

isolate and hold on to your ass and hope for the best....in the long run you come out ahead, you dont feel bad when your QQ gets beat by AK so why feel bad in your JJ gets beat by KJo. If we knew what was coming off on the flop this stuff wouldnt be much fun now would it?

Are you kidding me, JJ in a 22 regardless of position, I'd raise to 4x BB any pos if no openers, (4 + limper(x))BB in mid/late pos, I'd call any opener up to 3-5x BB and play on flop.
One over : I'd call c-bet and evaluate turn.
Two over : I'd fold 2/3 of the time, call if its rainbow/headsup.
three over(unlikely) : fold, he has you beat, and you can't take any heat on turn.

And in addition, If i'm late pos, i'd reraise 3-4x original raise, they'd fold 50% + unless they have qq+ or aq/ak and you're in luck if they call w/ anything less.
