3/6nl 6m turned top two
MP is 35/15 over 150 hands; I have seen him playing at the 5/10 and 2/4 tables too. I have played with SB once before; he is 42/10 over 70 hands and not too aggressive postflop. My image is tight and somewhat aggressive.
Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (5 handed) internettexasholdem.com Button ($140) SB ($630.65) BB ($415.75) Hero ($1150.47) MP ($1157.62) Preflop: Hero is UTG with 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $3. Hero raises to $21, MP calls $21, 1 fold, SB (poster) calls $18, 1 fold. Flop: ($69) 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players) SB checks, Hero bets $67, MP calls $67, SB calls $67. Turn: ($270) A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players) SB checks, Hero bets $200 Comments to this point? |

hi amoeba, good questions!
usually i bet 1/2 to 2/3 pot on dry flops, just felt like potting this one. maybe a mistake. i hadn't really thought about betting less on turn, very interesting. anybody like checking the turn? |

[/ QUOTE ] i check the turn fairly often here unless if you think they'll not put you on the A, and bluff raise trying to take you off KK/QQ/etc.... |

Re: 3/6nl 6m turned top two
On this board with the action so far, I don't think its too likely that either villain has an A. So, if this turn bet is getting called it'll be by somebody with a set. Thats bad.
You are in a great spot to represent KK/QQ here by thinking long and checking. Hopefully one or the other of them will fire a bet. However, I think thats the probably the last value you should expect out of this hand. Also, free cards are not a great concern as the villains are likely either already ahead or drawing to 2 outs, and either way you should not be looking to put a lot of money in on the river. |
