I will sometimes call a 3x raise but only with position and if likely to be closing the action, or close to.

Huh? You coldcalled a raise and a reraise with AQo? I would never ever make that call.

Flop is a tough one, but if you decide to play this trash I guess you got the flop you were hoping for. I really don't know since i would never put myself in this position, but I guess I fold.

Fold preflop and read more porn. Seriously. There are few good things that can happen after you called the reraise. Calling for two pair value blows.

I know people said fold pf, but you should know just how bad calling is. It is not a small mistake.

I wouldnt call the first 3x raise with AQo

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm certain we all open w/ AQ (depending on position for some) but how does everyone feel about calling a normal sized raise with position?

This is a little odd, but when I first started I called this raise, after a little more experience I tightened up and folded this hand and now I think I'm full circle given the button position I'm back to calling again... FWIW I do not call a re-raise but interested to see what everyone thinks about calling a normal 3x raise?

[/ QUOTE ]

That sounds like my progression with the hand. But I mainly play 11's so AQo is normally ahead of the open raiser, especially if he has shown loose tendencies.
In the hand in question, I would let it go to a raise and a reraise. It's just too early to get that involved with a hand that is probably dominated.

Suzzer, I tried to read this thread and reply with some insight, I really did - but you have several replies in this thread, and I just really, quite honeslty, can not stand to look at your friggin' donkeywoman avatar.

Sorry, but I'm sure you understand.

Yes because I am a post-flop God .

I'd need a read to fold, but I've definitely had that read lots before.

right-o. calling a 3xBB raise with AQo on the button is certainly no crime, especially if the raiser isn't some super weak-tight rock.
