they do actually have tests for it.

First of all, I don't understand how people go to 2+2 for this type of information. GOOGLE IT OR WIKIPEDIA IT

As for them having tests, they don't-there's no clinical test for ADD there's just a list of symptoms that they ask you about and look for developmental history, etc. There's not a test for it like there is for a CAT scan (at least not any that the American Pediatrics Association considers to be sufficiently predictive).

As for the long-term effects of it: it might kill you (or at lesat cause cardiac arrest)

Adderal is a stimulant, it goes in and out of your body very quickly, with little side effects. I suppose if you take far to much, it could be bad, but I take approx. 30mg a day, with no long term worries. If you want to take it to study, take 20-60 milligrams, and you'll be fine.

Don't fool yourself. Amphetamines are very addictive and DO have long term side effects vitamin deficiencies, weight loss, brain damage, etc don't take it lightly because it is a prescribed drug.

It's not a stimulant it's an amphetamine.

Amphetamines are stimulants.

Is there evidence for long-term brain damage from Adderal specifically? i realize the dangers of prescribed drugs and that's why I'm inquiring about this before I take it. The research I've done online has not hinted towards any brain damage, which is my main concern, but I might not have searched hard enough.

Anybody?

It's pretty great to drink on. You can party like a champ. I took it while in Vegas pretty non stop. Didnt have to sleep for around 3.5 days and drank non stop for 24 hours. Great party drug.
