I own Theory of Poker, Hold Em for Advanced Players, Super System, HoH 1/2, and Phil's Little Green Book - and I have been happy with each one. I would say Harrington's books are the best place to start, IMO.

A must read: Pot-Limit & No-Limit Poker by Stewart Reuben and Bob Ciaffone

Ciaffone's book is so simple and brief that it is deceiving.

Each time I have a losing session, I go back to the book and . . . Ciafonne warned me not to get into the situations I did. Great book even if it comes across as a bit weak-tight.

Yep, for our world I think its the best book available. For playing 100BB no limit I would also recommend Gordon's Little Greeen Book (excellent, really) Theory of Poker, SuperSystem2 and Ed Miller's SSHE. It seems counterintuitive but Miller's advice re: position is as valuable as any NLHE specific advice I have received (from non 2+2 sources of of course). It is a wonderful book

I just finished it after getting it for about $10 off of Ebay. I enjoyed it.... even the London Lowball sections are an amusing read, if not terribly helpful for my limit razz game. It's probably the only helpful thing to be written so far (save a couple of useful tips in Hellmuth's book) on PLO, a game I'd like to learn.
