Default KQs limp or raise?

No reads on individuals, but many limpers on most pots (as usual in this limit). I raise preflop to make the pot shorthanded (is this standard?), and I get a four-flush from the flop. Should I have raised the flop? And how is the play on later streets?

Looks good.

Another line is to raise on the flop, but I don't know what your FE is like at this level

I have calculated FE at $10NL to be -100%

I just like raising this flop because it disguises your hand more.

I don't mind the raise preflop but only because you're suited. With the whole table seeing the flop you're playing to flop a monster. You want two pair AT LEAST, or you want a good draw.

If you had KQo it's a definite limp.

Okay, thanks for the advice. MP3 had A9 of diamonds.

many times at this level someone has a smaller flush.
whilst its 2nd nuts, its easy to be beat here.

personally i dont like building a big pot preflop here, unless u can narrow it down to 1-2 others.
KQs is still behind to any ace.

That's yet another reason to raise the flop. I'd maybe even pot the sucker here. At NL10 you'll probably be able to get it all in on the flop with 3 way action if you really tried. Such a bet might have scared away the nut flush draw.
