Default Want to play power hour, but want to use an Itunes playlist. How?

Most of us are familiar with power hour/century club. For those who aren't it involves taking a shot of beer every minute on the minute for 60 or 100 minutes. It passes the time.

In any case, having music typically makes this "game" a great deal more fun, but I have lost my power hour mixtape. The tape contained 120 different songs each played for 1 minute each. It was a bitch to make, but made power hour a lot more fun.

What I'm wondering is: is there any way to set Itunes to only play 1 minute of a track before moving on to the next track?

If you right click and open up the Info box, you should be able to click the "Options" tab, and you can adjust the start and end times of your songs. The problem, of course, is that this will be a bitch to do 120 times (60 to make the tape, and 60 to get your songs back to normal).

BTW, I am on a Mac but I imagine iTunes is the same on both platforms.

I remember someone like a week ago talking about a program that would take itunes songs and make a power hour mix. I don't remember where I heard it, who told me, or if I heard the name of the program though. Try googling and see if you can find anything.

I've made my own custom power hour cd's.

Here's how:

(1) Get a copy of DBPoweramp and get a copy of the 'power pack'

(2) There's a DSP function that lets you trim each song to a specified length. As an added bonus, I like to fade out the last 5-8 seconds of each song so you can tell it's ending easier.

The nice thing is you can do a large batch of songs. The only limiting part is that you just get the first minute of each song. Obviously, if you wanted only your favorite parts, there's no good way to automate it.

Have fun... this was a blast when I did it...
