Default are you brave enough to call this

earlier he 4-bet me all in preflop with A4 I had AK.

villain is playing like %50-70 pots. Limping all the time. LAG as [censored]. Full ring. One hand he open shoved quick and took it d

Villain limps, has 14k. some guy raises to 250. I call with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]j[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] rest fold.

Flop J103 rainbow 850 pot.

Villain thinks 2 seconds and shoves.

other guy folds.

13k to me.

Funny, I had EXACT same hand come up vs Phil Laak and he showed middle set. Thinking back it was a really bad call. Villain is probably not a moron (an assumption on my part) so even if he does not have you beat now he probably has a ton of outs... but he probably has you beat and shoving for value figuring with his insane image you're calling a lot lighter than usual.

Kirk

PS. Also, I'm assuming you won the A4 vs AK hand, right? That makes it an auto-muck because NO ONE wants to double up the same [censored] twice in a row, so a huge overbet from a player you've been owning is almost never a bluff, he's too afraid to give you even more money and look stupid. What's happening is he's desperately trying to get his monies back from you and is betting for value.

still. in my view he has to be shoving like this on like 30-40% of the flops he sees to make this call profitable

I agree with this but he's shoving into two people, the PFR as well as OP. This takes away a little bit of the personal aspect but it also makes a big made hand or good draw a larger part of his range than a hand like QJ so it's still a fold.
