No, Villain simply played worse. Your call of his reraise on flop + As hitting on turn froze him up, the last spade married him to his hand. I'm surprised you got that last call there, but lucky you [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

I see this play from KQ or KJ sometimes as a means of feeling out whether you're c-betting JJ or something. Granted, I play more live than online, so maybe this is a set more often online? I kind of like checking the river too, with the idea that many players may take one last stab at a pot they don't think they can win. And like you say, he'd need the Q or J of spades to call. |
