about once a year you could fold one if the action makes you 99% sure that someone has a set and this would have to be in a multiway pot. However, I refuse to believe that you get 6 set over sets per session and 60 a month or whatever you claimed unless you're 50-tabling 18 hours a day.

you can fold bottom sets in raised pots vs v tight v passive players sometimes, but mostly you just need to go baroke in these spots.
You will seemingly reduce your setVsets if you play a more aggressive game, because people will be shoving to your sets with a more beatable range than before. |

Two things: 1)Never think about folding set over set, period. [/ QUOTE ] only a sith deals in absolutes. If his range is only bigger sets, then its an obvious fold, period. |

so should i really be worried when i run into set under set about 30 times [/ QUOTE ] Yes. It means that your ex-girlfriend who dumped you because you play too much poker really is a witch and she put a hex on you. But seriously, don't worry about set over set too much. I've had two at the same time at different tables. I'm sure I'm not the only one here who that's happened to. When I used to play a lot of limit I noticed that I hit set under set a lot less often than my opponents because I didn't feel compelled to play every pocket pair for any number of raises. The more flops you see with small pairs particularly against a pfr, the more set under sets you'll suffer. |
